01 · Who we are
This policy explains how UrbanovaFest (“Urbanova”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use urbanovafest.com or contact us through it. It applies to this website only; sites we link to (for example Spotify, Instagram, TikTok or a ticketing partner) have their own policies.
02 · What we collect
Updates signup: when you join the list we collect the email address you provide. The list is operated for us by Laylo, which processes it on our behalf.
Contact and partnership enquiries: when you send a message we collect what you enter: name, email, organisation (optional), the topic you choose and your message. Enquiries are delivered to our team by email; they are not stored on the web server.
Technical data: like every website, our servers see the IP address and browser details of requests. We use this only to keep the site secure (for example rate-limiting abusive submissions) and to fix problems.
03 · How we use it
To send you the festival updates you opted into, such as dates, lineup, presale and related news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message.
To review and respond to your enquiry.
To operate, secure and improve the website.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising pixels or cross-site tracking on this site.
04 · Cookies and analytics
This site does not set marketing or advertising cookies. If we measure traffic, we use a privacy-first analytics service that works without cookies, does not identify you personally and does not track you across other sites.
Because of this, there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
05 · Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the site and communications, namely our list provider (Laylo), our email host and our web hosting provider, each only for the purpose described above.
Authorities where the law requires it.
06 · How long we keep it
Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Enquiries are kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to respond and follow up.
07 · Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws) you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Email info@urbanovafest.com and we'll respond promptly.
08 · Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version and its effective date will be posted on this page.
